DEVICE FOR FIXING BOSS OF TANK MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS

PURPOSE: A device for fixing a boss is provided to prevent the damage of threads in a boss fitting screw by transmitting force applied to the boss fitting screw to composite fiber. CONSTITUTION: In a tank made of composite materials, a metallic ring(3) and a coupling bolt(4) are installed between a boss fitting screw(5) and composite fiber(2). The force applied to the boss fitting screw is transmitted to the composite fiber, thereby preventing the damage of threads in the boss fitting screw.
