PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for determining blood types are provided, thereby accurately determining the blood type using a small amount of blood. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining blood types comprises the steps of: inserting reagents into a plurality of reagent storing chambers; introducing blood into each of the reagent storing chambers and mixing them; filtering the mixture of the blood and reagents or reaction products with micro-filters; and passing the filtered mixture or reaction products through reading channels connected to the micro-filters, wherein the reading channels contain reading chambers. An apparatus(300) for determining blood types comprises a blood introducing chamber(320); a plurality of micro-channels connected to the blood introducing chamber; a plurality of reagent storing chambers(330) connected to the micro-channels; a plurality of micro-filters(340) connected to the reagent storing chamber; and a plurality of reading channels(350) connected to the micro-filters.
