PURPOSE: A support member for packaging a PDP half-finished product is provided which is useful to absorb a shock and prevent a moisture penetration according to a long distance transportation and is capable of maintaining a perfect packaging state. CONSTITUTION: The support member packages a plurality of cases(10) with a glass plate(12) on the entire surfaces for the assembling of a PDP half-finished product. The plurality of cases(10) and a strength reinforcing plywood(15) are supported together by a support member(20) with a plurality of partitions(21). The support member(20) is provided with a cut recess(22) of one shape containing the cases(10), a cut recess(25) of another shape containing the plywood(15) and a chamfer(28) expanding the inlet of the cut recesses(22,25) so as to make the access of the cases(10) and the plywood(15) easy.
