PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inducing alpha waves effective to even many unspecified listeners without the need for a particular apparatus in receiving a stereo signal and to provide a recording medium for the method of inducing alpha waves.

SOLUTION: Stereophonic sound obtained by applying amplitude modulation to both stereophonic signals with a sine wave with a frequency of 4 to 13 Hz so as to inverse them to each other is directly transmitted or stereophonic sound obtained by reproducing a recording medium with the former stereophonic sound recorded thereon is transmitted in a wired or wireless manner, listeners reproduce and listen to the stereophonic signals in a different space to relax the mind and body of the listeners and intensify the alpha waves.
