PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piece of electronic equipment that permits easy assembly without requiring a jig or a machine screw, thus making possible an integrated cabinet. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is provided with a cabinet formed by joining together a front cabinet 2 and a back cabinet 3. The cabinet is provided with the following components. Specifically: a leg 23 provided on one end portion of an opening in the front cabinet 2 and protruding toward an opening in the back cabinet 3; a locking hole 23A provided in the leg 23; an insertion hole 31 provided at a point near one end portion of the opening in the back cabinet 3, through which a leading end portion of the leg 23 provided on the front cabinet 2 passes; a locking member 60 inserted from an intersecting direction intersecting an insertion direction in which the leg 23 is to be inserted in the insertion hole 31 to fit into the locking hole 23A; and a battery lid 4 for closing a battery chamber 33 provided on an outer surface side of the back cabinet 3 and accommodating therein a battery 5.
