<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for consulting support which provide information on environmental management or environmental maintenance and consulting service complying with a customer's request. <P>SOLUTION: A consultation server 3 having an environmental term database 5 storing terms concerning environmental management or environmental maintenance and a consultant database 4 storing consultant data consisting of the names, contact places, and special fields of consultants concerning the environmental management or environmental maintenance is connected to a customer through a network.
