Sand mold box machine has workstations to fill the boxes with sand and compress the sand filling, without recirculating or reciprocating filling frames to shorten cycle times and increase sand filling times

To produce sand mold boxes a model unit (4.02) is shrouded and moved vertically in a telescopic action by a sliding model filling frame (4.03), to take the mold box (4.01) on its upper surface to take the loose sand. In the lower position, the model filling frame rests on the laying surface (4.39) of the model unit. At the workstation (A),the filling frame is raised by the lifting table (2.01) at the rolling path (2.03) for the filling zone (2.39) to be charged with sand during a time span of 60% of the total cycle. At the next workstation (B), the sand is compressed by a tamping frame (3.14).
