PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch mechanism performing click operation. SOLUTION: An output pulley 10 is coupled to a load through a wire rope 12 and energized in a clockwise direction by the return force of a load. A clutch claw 48a of a motor shaft 48 is connected to a clutch claw 44a of a drive gear 44, and an output gear 14 is driven in a counterclockwise direction. A cam groove 16 is rotated and regulates rotation of a switch lever 22 in a region where the cam groove is progressed over the same radius. At an end part 16c the width of which is expanded, a notch step part 26b of an arcwise long hole rib surface is brought into contact with a seat face step part 30b of a containing case, a switch lever 22 presses down the driving gear 44 by a cam protrusion face 38 and presses a compression coil spring 36 to maintain a clutch means 34 in an engaging position. During completion of hoisting of the output pulley 10, a switch protrusion 18 forcibly revolves the switch lever 22 to release slight engagement with a boss end face 46 of the driving gear 41. The compression coil spring 36 is stretched at a stroke, and the switch lever 22 is rapidly revolved, a boss end face 46 of the driving gear 44 is moved to a cam recessed face 40 to release the clutch means 34, and transmission of a motor output is stopped.
