PURPOSE: A string for holding personal belongings is provided to allow a user to fix the length of the string and the position of the personal belongings to the string and thereby to make the string compatible regardless of the size of the user's body to feel comfortable when the user wears the string on the neck. CONSTITUTION: The string(100) for holding personal belongings includes a removable part(103) which can be removed from the personal belongings; a string(105a) which is long enough to form a kind of necklace part; a controlling part(110) which both sides of the string go through and which can be moved adequately to the proper position of the string and which the user can fix in accordance with the position of the string or the personal belongings(101); a ring part(121) which connects the string through the controlling part(110) with the removable part(103) and changes the moving direction of the string through the controlling part(110); a fixing part which is placed in either the removable part(103) or the controlling part(110) to fix both ends of the string.
