<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can surely remove discharge products such as ozone and NOx produced by an electrostatic charger or a toner cloud produced by a developing unit and prevents a discharger and a photosensitive drum from being contaminated with the discharge products such as ozone and NOx produced by the electrostatic charger or the toner cloud produced by the developing unit to cause image deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming member is provided with an air sucking means capable of sucking air and a discharge means capable of discharging removed matter from the image forming member together with air, and an air intake of the sucking means and an exhaust opening of the exhaust means are arranged adjacently to each other nearby the image forming member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
