METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEAMLESS STEEL PIPE FOR PILGER ROLLING MILL STRUCTURE OF EXCELLENT SURFACE CONDITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilger steel pipe not to impair the commodity value by the rust on a surface of the pilger steel pipe by eliminating surface rust by degreasing a seamless steel pipe for a pilger rolling mill structure. SOLUTION: A seamless steel pipe for a pilger rolling mill structure with metallic gloss as pilger-rolled and with rust prevention by degreasing the seamless steel pipe after the pilger rolling shown in Fig. 1 and pickling the degreased seamless steel tube with sulfuric acid within 24 hours after degreasing.
