PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new tire-attaching/detaching unit for industrial vehicles which is suitable for corresponding to the requirement of an on-site movable service. SOLUTION: This tire-attaching/detaching unit for industrial vehicles is equipped with a supporting base frame 2, a supporting rigid frame work 13 which is pivotally supported along a rocking shaft center 12, a driving means which rockably and vertically moves the supporting rigid frame work 13, an automatic aligning assembly 14, and a bead-removing means which is attached to the supporting rigid frame work. The tire-attaching/detaching unit is also equipped with a pair of bead-removing assemblies 34 and 42, driving means 25 and 26, and an attaching tool 47. The pair of the bead-removing assemblies 34 and 42 are supported by the supporting rigid frame work 13 and arranged on both sides of the automatic aligning assembly 14. The driving means 25 and 26 move the bead-removing assemblies 34 and 42 in the direction vertical to the rocking shaft center between a pull-in stop position and a stretch work position. The attaching tool 47 can be rockably displaced relative to the bead- removing assemblies and the automatic aligning assembly 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
