PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washing and drying machine which does not make a difference in time between when a process is completed and when a residual time becomes zero with respect to a subtraction display function. SOLUTION: The washing and drying machine 1 is provided with: a wash tub 3; an electromagnetic valve 4 for water feeding (water feeding means); a pump 11 (draining means); a microcomputer 21 for carrying out a process consisting of a plurality of processings including water-feeding processing; and a time display part 32 for displaying a residual time until the completion of a process. The microcomputer 21 calculates the residual time based on a time required for the plurality of processings and subtracts and displays the residual time in the time display part 32 according to the passage of the time when carrying the process. The microcomputer 21 allows the time required for water- feeding processing to be set as a prescribed time when calculating the residual time, and interrupts subtraction of the residual time when carrying out the water-feeding processing of the process. When the water-feeding processing is finished, the prescribed time is subtracted from the interrupted residual time and subtraction display is started again. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
