PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform digital operation by an operator for pressing operation conventionally used for the digital operation.

SOLUTION: This operation device has the constitution for converting analog signals into digital signals of a plurality of bits corresponding to an output level by an A/D conversion part 16 by dividing the analog signals outputted from a detecting element into levels by a level dividing part 15 by arranging the detecting element (for example, a pressure sensitive element 12) for outputting the analog signals corresponding to the pressing operation of the operator 11, and has a dividing range setting means (for example, a memory 20) for setting an output level range of the analog signals divided by the level dividing part 15. The level dividing part 15 is constituted so as to divide the output level of the analog signals outputted from the detecting element into a plurality in a range set in the dividing range setting means.
