PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a special litter box for a pet to keep a rearing cage for the pet such as a rabbit in sanitary state by preventing the staining of the floor with urine and faces of the pet and keeping the rabbit from diseases such as diarrhea caused by moisture or pathogenic bacteria. SOLUTION: A flange 4 is formed on the circumference of the bottom 5 of a nearly fan-shaped and having a right-angled tip A and a curved bottom B. The top-opened container 1 is made of a water-resistant vinyl or resin. A urea-absorbing material 2 is placed in the container 1 and a permeable sheet cloth 3 is laid on the material to sterically collect the urine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
