PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wholly aromatic polyester carbonate composition having excellent heat resistance and a method for producing the wholly aromatic polyester carbonate composition having excellent dispersibility of an inorganic filler and resultantly excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: The method for producing the wholly aromatic polyester carbonate composition comprises using a prescribed aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, a prescribed aromatic diol component, a diaryl carbonate and the inorganic filler in a prescribed ratio.
