PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size air cleaner exhibiting sufficient sterilization and healing effects even in a large room and a room with obstacles. SOLUTION: This air cleaner 100 is provided with a roller 3 for moving a casing 101, an ion generator 231, a motor 106, a fan 108 attached to a main shaft of the motor 106, and a moving device 107 changing the rotating direction of the roller 103 and adjusting the rotation speed, and is characterized in rolling the roller 103 on a rail 102 installed on a wall surface or a ceiling of a room by the driving of the motor 106, and blowing the ion generated by the driving of the ion generator 231 to the room by the driving of the fan 108, while moving the casing 101 along the rail 102 by the rotation of the roller 103.
