PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ride-through preliminary force for a pulse tube refrigerator (PTR). SOLUTION: This pulse tube refrigerating system comprises a pressurized tank 42 for storing fluid used to feed a fluid pressure and an auxiliary power to the PTR 12 when a power supply is stopped. The fluid is discharged from the pressurized tank 42 to the PTR 12 by a pressure control valve 44. Drive gas for driving an air motor 46 is discharged from the pressurized tank 12 by a power control valve 48. Next, the rotary valve 22 of the PTR 12 is driven by the air motor 46. The fluid is discharged from the PTR 12 by a discharge valve 50 to lower the fluid pressure to a specified pressure range, and allow the fluid to be vibrated in the PTR 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
