<p>Nozzle openings belonging to an adjacent pair of nozzle rows out of plural nozzle rows are displaced from each other in an extending direction of the nozzle row pair. The liquid supplied to the plural nozzle rows has the lightest color in the nozzle rows located at the extreme end sides of a liquid jet head in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the plural nozzle rows and has the darkest color in the middle side of the liquid jet head in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the plural nozzle rows. The device includes a control section capable of controlling the liquid jet head so that liquid is jetted from all the plural nozzle rows formed in the liquid jet head in the forward backward movements in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the nozzle rows. Degradation of image quality and extension of a run-up section that are caused by a large-scale liquid jet head are prevented from occurring.</p> |
