<p>A quickly soluble film preparation which contains a drug and an edible polymer, in which the break strength of the film ranges from 200 to 3000 g/φ7 mm, the tensile strength of the film ranges from 200 to 3000 g/15 mm and the disintegration time in water Y [sec] is not longer than 300 sec (Y≤300), and which fulfills the relationship of disintegration time in water Y [sec]≥7500 X2 (wherein X stands for the reciprocal number [mg/mm2] of the specific surface area of the film (X≥0)). In this preparation, the edible polymer is hydroxypropylcellulose and/or hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, the content of the drug is from 0.01 to 40% by weight based on the whole preparation, and the content of the edible polymer is from 40 to 99.99% by weight based on the whole preparation. The preparation consists of a single layer containing the drug or has support layer(s) on one or both of the faces of the drug-containing layer.</p> |
