PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the capability for compensating nonlinear distortion over a wide area of a high frequency power amplifier under severe conditions when made small and saving power. SOLUTION: An adaptive predistortion processing part (14) and a feedforward distortion compensation circuit (30) are connected through a D/A converter (20), an A/D converter (28) or the like, a switch circuit (SW) is used to extract a signal of each part of the feedforward distortion compensation circuit (30) to feed back the signal to a digital signal processing system, and a control and monitoring part (60) performs processing using digital signal processing with high accuracy. Two input signal characteristics of the feedforward distortion compensation circuit (30) are made to coincide with each other by an amplitude, phase and delay adjuster (51) and feedforward distortion compensation processing is subsequently performed.
