PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which, in the case of treating combustible waste by using a pressure two-stage gasification method, the tip of an oxygen- containing mixed gas feed pipe is not eroded in a combustion chamber of a high-temperature gasification furnace so as to solve a problem. SOLUTION: An oxygen-containing mixed gas having a velocity of 3-10 times as high as that of a combustible gas introduced into the high-temperature gasification furnace is brought into contact with the spiral flow of the combustible gas or an oxygen-containing mixed gas having kinetic energy of 20-500 times as much as that of the combustible gas introduced into the high-temperature gasification furnace is brought into contact with the combustible gas.
