PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular interior furnishing system which is provided with a variety in function, achieves the arrangement of units with high static stability, and has maximum modular property. SOLUTION: A plurality of different functional units are incorporated in a rectangular frame (1) by penetrating a frame plane. The frame can be attached to a chassis (8) which is extended perpendicularly to the frame plane on the underside of the frame, or can be connected to a second adjacent frame by attaching a corner connection member. One of the two is selectively adopted in order to stabilize the frame in a vertical position. Incorporation is performed by offset, so as to allow the projecting amount of each functional unit toward one side of the frame plane to be larger than that toward the other side of the frame plane.
