The invention relates to a seat detector comprising numerous active zones which are distributed on the surface of said detector. The detector comprises an upper elastic support sheet (12) and a lower elastic support sheet (10). The upper and lower support sheets are disposed at a pre-determined distance from one another by means of a spacer (14) which is positioned between said two support sheets so as to surround the active zones of the detector at least partially. The detector also comprises at least two contact structures which are disposed inside each active zone on the support sheets such that, when the two sheets are compressed in the active zone, an electric contact is made between the contact structures. According to the invention, a curved elastic element (20) is associated with each active zone, said curved element covering at least part of the respective active zone. |
