PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable leg for apparatus which can easily be mounted to or removed from a housing of apparatus. SOLUTION: This adjustable leg for apparatus is provided with a leg 10 which is provided at the lower part of a housing 2 of apparatus to form a grounding portion at the lower part thereof and a projection/recess 18, such as a thread or the like to the external circumference of the upper part thereof; a mounting case 4 mounted to a mounting recess 3 formed at the bottom of the housing 2 of the apparatus for inserting the projection/recess 18 such as the thread or the like of the leg 10 to pivotally supporting holes 12, 13; a lock piece 5 pivotally supported in the mounting case 4 to include the projection/ recess 38 engaged with the projection/recess 18 of the leg 10; and a means provided to the mounting case 4 for ensuring engagement between the projection/recess 38 of the lock piece 5 and the projection/recess 18 of the leg 10 or cancelling the engagement. Moreover, the mounting case 4 is also integrally provided with a snap fit portion 30 including projected portions 31, 31 for engagement engaged to be removable with the projected portions 29, 29 to be engaged formed to the mounting recess 3 of the housing of apparatus.
