<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coater which does not become impossible to write by transmitting a coating liquid jumped up from the wall surface of a containing container along a gap between a backflow inhibiting material and the inner wall of a barrel to rise when the material is filled on the liquid at a manufacturing time, punching through the material, and transpirating the solvent in the liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The coater comprises the backflow inhibiting material moving as the coating liquid decreases and disposed above the liquid contained in the barrel, and a coating member mounted under a barrel body.
