PURPOSE: Provided is a water softener with an oxygen generator, the water softener being capable of generating oxygen and increasing dissolved oxygen in softened water, thereby providing oxygen to skin of human body when it is used and decreasing water treatment time after it is used. CONSTITUTION: The water softener comprises a housing(10), a hard water inflow pipe(11) coupled to a side of the housing(10), a column(13) filled with ion exchange resin for softening hard water, a softened water outflow pipe(14) connected to the column(13), a liquid flow meter(20) for detecting inflow rate of hard water, an oxygen generator(21) for generating oxygen in accordance with a signal transmitted from the liquid flow meter(21), and an oxygen supply pipe(23) for transferring oxygen to dissolve oxygen into the softened water.
