METHOD FOR WRITING DATA OF TAPE DRIVE EMULATOR

PURPOSE: A method for writing data of a tape drive emulator is provided to generally use data in different systems without the tape drive emulator, thereby removing a limit on reuse of data and application systems. CONSTITUTION: In all data to be written on a magnetic tape, only pure data are written on a magnetic disk in order of being written on the magnetic tape to form a data file(160). All formats of the magnetic tape except the pure data are recorded on the magnetic disk in order of being written on the magnetic tape to form an index file(150) representing sequential formats of the data written on the magnetic tape.
