<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a fuel pressure fluctuation accompanying a fuel injection of a common rail type fuel injection device. <P>SOLUTION: A branch pipe 13 is connected to a high-pressure fuel pipe 11 which connects a fuel injection valve 10 to a common rail 3, and an end of the branch pipe is connected to the common rail through a check valve 15. The check valve opens only when a pressure of a branch pipe side is higher than that of a common rail side to communicate the branch pipe with the common rail. Thus a pressure wave accompanying a fuel injection reflected at a connecting part A of the high-pressure fuel pipe with the common rail and a pressure wave accompanying a fuel injection reflected at a check valve side end part B of the branch pipe are interfered and suppressed each other, to prevent the reflected pressure waves from reaching the fuel check valve and from generating the fuel injection pressure fluctuation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
