<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording paper which has high ink absorbing properties and excellent resistances to blurring and cracking in high humidity, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording paper has a porous ink absorbing layer on a non-water-absorbing substrate. The ink absorbing layer contains inorganic particulates, a hydrophilic binder, a crosslinking agent, at least one kind of cationic polymer (A) which has a weight-average molecular weight of 15,000 or below and at least one kind of cationic polymer (B) which has a weight- average molecular weight of 20,000 or above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
