PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation frequency controlling device of a general-purpose engine with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In this rotation frequency controlling device of a general-purpose engine controlling the rotation frequency NE of a general-purpose engine 10 using a controlling device with an output of a generating coil 36 as operating power, a pulse signal generating circuit 50a is provided which is connected to the coil 36, receives an output from the coil 36, and generates a pulse signal corresponding to the rotation frequency NE of the engine 10, and a power circuit 50b is connected to the circuit 50a in parallel.
