PURPOSE: To enable stabilized output voltage to be obtained, to a wide range of input voltage, and also, improve power factor. CONSTITUTION: A first energy transmission path transmits the energy accumulated in a transformer during the ON period of a first switching element 4 to output side through the output winding 32 of the transformer 3 in the next period. A second energy transmission path transmits energy to output side from input side through the output winding 32 when a second switching element 5 is on, having a second switching element 5 and the output winding 32 inserted and connected within the circuit loop making a round of an input end 11, an output end 21, load, an output end 22, and an input end 12. A control circuit 9 controls the ON time of the first switching element 4 and the second switching element 5 and the timing of ON. |
