PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller battery. SOLUTION: A metal battery cover 6 electrically ranging to a positive electrode of a generating element 5 is fixed to a metal plate 21 as a metal insert component insert-molded in a resin cover 3, a negative electrode internal terminal 8 ranging to a negative electrode is provided on the battery cover 6 in an electrically insulated manner, and a pair of external connection terminals 25, 27 electrically ranging to the metal plate 21 and an extraction electrode 8, respectively, are provided on the resin cover 3. The metal plate 21 and the battery cover 6 are electrically connected to each other, permitting the miniaturization. The battery cover 6 and the resin cover 3 are fixed to each other via a connection protruded portion 16, improving the strength of a side face, in particular, against external force.
