<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for removing and decomposing indoor suspended dust-dirt and exhaust gas intruding from an external part, installable in an indoor dead space, and having such a shape as to place no hindrance even if the air cleaner is arranged in a room. <P>SOLUTION: An air cleaner body 1 is formed in a vertically slender shape having a lower part positioned in the vicinity of a floor surface, and having an upper part having the height extending to the vicinity of a ceiling surface. A prefilter 5 is arranged in the vicinity of a lower air suction port 3, and a slender photocatalyst filter 6 is arranged in the lengthwise direction of the body above the prefilter. An air blower 10 is arranged above the photocatalyst filter 6, and clean circulating air is blown off from a blowoff port 4 of a body upper part by removing and decomposing a pollutant in intake air by the photocatalyst filter 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
