PURPOSE: Provided are an extracting method of polyprenol and a cultivating method of plants using the same to increase productivity cost effectively and consequently to contribute agricultural development. CONSTITUTION: A cultivating method of plants is characterized by applying polyprenol represented by the formula(1) to plants including a marronnier, a cotton plant, a tobacco plant, Arisama amurense var., Betula platyphylla, a gingko tree, and soybean, or their seeds.
