<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel of a writing utensil, in which a gate mark in an injection molding neither impairs the beautiful appearance of a transparent barrel member nor obstructs the appreciation of a pattern such as an indwelling seal nor deteriorates the feel of a hand holding a barrel at writing even when a transparent rigid resin is employed in a fore barrel member corresponding to the holding part of the writing utensil. <P>SOLUTION: Within the fore barrel member 2 made of transparent rigid resin having the gate mark 2e in the injection molding at its one end, a tubular member 4 is arranged under the condition that a gap is provided between the inner surface of the fore barrel member and the member 4 and a tip member 6, through the tip of which a writing body projects, is arranged at the fore end part of the tubular member, while a rear barrel member 7 is arranged at the rear end part of the tubular member. In addition, the tip member and the rear axis member are threadingly or pressingly fitted to the tubular member so as to pinch the fore barrel member 2 between the tip member and the rear barrel member and, at the same time, to cover the gate mark of the fore barrel member non-visually recognizably from outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
