The dispenser uses a pump (20) with an internal actuator mechanism (40) to expel a fluid or powder product from a reservoir (10). Movement of a non-detachable cover (50) between a raised position when it covers the dispensing orifice (31), and a depressed position when it operates the internal mechanism, causes product to be dispensed.
