<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device unit having a simple structure, in which only a corresponding specific consumable component (toner cartridge) can be correctly loaded and to provide an image forming device having the device unit. <P>SOLUTION: The device unit has the replaceable, consumable component 42, and a functional member which has a receiving portion for the consumable component 42 and can be used for long time in comparison with the consumable component 42. In the device unit, the shape of the receiving part 46 is renewed every time that the consumable component 42 is detached from the functional component.
