PURPOSE: A drum brake for a vehicle is provided to lengthen a change period of a lining by reducing the wear deviation of a pair of linings and preventing one of the linings from being worn away first. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake(300) for a vehicle includes a rotating drum(200); a backing plate(210) disposed to the inside of the drum; a leading shoe(220) fixed to the baking plate by a first hinge; a trailing shoe(230) fixed to the backing plate by a second hinge; and a wheel cylinder(240). A first lining(225), pressing the inside of the drum, is attached to the leading shoe and a second lining(235), pressing the inside of the drum, is attached to the trailing shoe. To equalize the first damping force produced while first lining is adhered closely to the drum, and the second damping force produced while the second lining is adhered closely to the drum, the wheel cylinder has a first piston connected with the leading shoe, a second piston connected with the trailing shoe, and a piston cylinder. The first piston has a first diameter and the second piston has a second diameter. The piston cylinder makes the first and second pistons reciprocate by the hydraulic pressure.
