<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humectant, an antioxidant, an antiaging agent, a scavenger of active oxygen, a scavenger of a radical, a production promoter of hyaluronic acid, an elastase inhibitor, and a collagenase inhibitor which are useful for preventing and ameliorating rough skin, aging of the skin, and various kinds of dermatological diseases accompanied by them, and to provide a skin cosmetic and a food and drink for beauty. <P>SOLUTION: The humectant, the antioxidant, the antiaging agent, the scavenger of the active oxygen, the scavenger of the radical, the production promoter of the hyaluronic acid, the elastase inhibitor, the collagenase inhibitor, the skin cosmetic and the food and drink for the beauty contain an extract of a fruit of a star fruit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
