PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine housing having a double pipe structure capable of keeping high compression efficiency of the turbine for a long time. SOLUTION: An inner shell 32 of the turbine housing 12 comprises a compression scroll member 35 for storing a turbine wheel and an inlet scroll member 36 for introducing exhaust gas to the compression scroll member 35. Both scroll members 35 and 36 are interconnected by an insertion structure of an connecting opening 38 of the compression scroll member 35 and an insertion part 45 of the inlet scroll member 36. A guide plate 48 for guiding exhaust gas flow compressed in the compression scroll member 35 is formed integrally with the inlet scroll member 36 at an opening edge of the center side of the compression scroll member 35 at the tip of the insertion part 45. This guide plate 48 is formed by extending part of the opening edge of the insertion part 45 and folding the compression scroll member 35 in the tangent direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
