<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent images from being deteriorated due to ozone and to prevent the inside of a color image forming device from being polluted due to toner dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: A developing roller 43 of a rotary developing device for developing a latent image formed by selectively exposing the outer periphery of an image carrier 21 charged by a corona charger/discharger 22 for charging the image carrier 21 by applying toner to the latent image, is formed as a non- contact type capable of performing developing operation with a gap D without bringing the roller 43 into contact with the image carrier 21, the corona charger/ discharger 22 is provided with an ozone discharging port 25a and a toner suction port 81 is arranged on the opposite side of the discharging port 25a through the gap D. The ozone discharge port 25a is arranged on the upstream side of the gap D in the rotational direction of each member and the toner suction port 81 is arranged on the downstream side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
