<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable children, elderly people, and wheelchair users to easily use an elevator connecting an automatic ticket barrier level and a platform level of a station. <P>SOLUTION: When an automatic ticket examining machine 4 determines children and elderly people from a train ticket, or a wheelchair detecting device 5 detects a wheelchair, an elevator control panel 12 registers a special landing call of the ticket barrier level. When a car 7 arrived at the ticket barrier level 1 according to the call, opening time of a door is extended, and a door closing speed is lowered.
