<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming machine capable of efficiently removing the discharged from a fixing means after transfer without stagnating the heat on the lower side of a guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming machine is provided with a photosensitive drum arranged so as to be optionally rotated; an electrifier for electrifying the circumferential surface of the drum to specific polarity; a developing device for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the circumferential surface of the drum to a toner image; a transfer means for transferring the toner image formed on the circumferential surface of the drum to transfer paper; a fixing means for heat-fixing the toner image transferred to the transfer paper by the transfer means; and a cooling fan for sending cooling air to the periphery of the fixing means, and also provided with a guide plate for guiding the transfer paper to which the toner image is transferred by the transfer means to the fixing means, and a plurality of apertures are formed on the guide plate in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
