PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple mop which has a good handleability and requires a small storage space by freely folding a handle member and being attached to/detached from a mop body. SOLUTION: A handle attaching portion 3 formed at a part of the upper surface of the mop body A is detachably attached with a fitting portion 14 at the base part of a handle member B, the handle member B is formed of a first handle portion 11 with the fitting portion 14 and a second handle portion 12 pivoted on the front end part of the first handle portion at its base part so as to be freely foldable, first engaging means 20a and 20b mutually engaged are provided on one end and the other end of the pivoted side end parts of both handle portions, respectively, and second engaging means 21a and 21b mutually engageable in a folded state of the handle member B on the first and the second handle portions other than the pivoted side end parts, respectively.
