<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for an internal combustion engine, in which workability and productivity at a time of manufacturing is improved, without degrading performance such as combustion characteristic required for the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The intake device for the internal combustion engine has an intake manifold 1 connected to a cylinder head to supply air to an intake port formed to the cylinder head. In the intake device, a branch member 31 having a projecting portion 35 of a triangular shape is fitted to a downstream side of an intake passage 21 of the intake manifold 1.
