MUFFLER SETTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler setting structure which is easy in setting and positioning and not expensive. SOLUTION: A set positioning member 3 is set in an outlet pipe 2 of a muffler 1. The member 3 has a first end face 31 and a second end face 32 formed at a tail tube side. The first end face 31 at the tail tube side is formed to come in contact with a first end face of a muffler body side of a cramp 4 so as to position the outlet pipe 2. The end face 32 at the tail tube side is formed to come in contact with a muffler body side end face 52 of the tail tube 5 so as to adjust an insertion amount when the outlet pipe 2 is inserted into the tail tube 5. A projection 33 projecting toward the tail tube is formed. An end face in parallel with an axis direction is formed at the projection 33. The end face in parallel with the axis direction is formed to come in contact with the flat surface 43 of the cramp 4 so as to position the circumferential (rotational) direction of the outlet pipe 2.
