The invention relates to a method for the identification of objects such as coins, tokens, identification tags, keys etc, whereby the object to be identified is stimulated by a time-dependent physical parameter and the reply signal thus generated by the object is recorded. The obtained information is then broken down, filtered and analysed for the relevant component parts thereof and a true/false decision as to the identity of the object is made by means of a comparison with stored reference values. |
