PIN-TYPE JOURNAL BEARING FOR WATER-LUBRICATING CANNED MOTOR PUMP

PURPOSE: A pin-type journal bearing is provided to feed lubricating agent to a center of the pin-type journal bearing and to improve reliability of the pin-type journal bearing by allowing internal circulation coolant to flow widthwise the pin-type journal bearing. CONSTITUTION: A pin-type journal bearing includes a plurality of pin-type bearing journals(34) made of ceramic, a journal housing(33) for receiving the pin-type bearing journals(34) therein, and a bearing(32) made of ceramic. The pin-type bearing journals(34) are thermally inserted into the journal housing(33) and are fixed widthwise the bearing(32) by means of a journal cover(35). The pin-type bearing journals(34) form a fluid film together with the bearing(32) so as to support the bearing(32) when load is applied to the bearing(32). A gap is formed between the bearing journal(34) and the journal housing(33) so as to form a path for allowing internal circulating coolant to flow through.
