PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a show case without upsizing of a show case body in the height direction even when display racks inside a merchandise housing part is slantingly provided in a declining-ahead manner. SOLUTION: A bottom plate 2a of the merchandise housing part 2 is slantingly provided along the lowermost display rack 5 in the declining-ahead manner. A machinery chamber 3 and an evaporator 3c are so formed that heights thereof gradually lower toward the front side from the back side. Thereby no useless opening space is generated between the lowermost display rack 5 and the bottom plate 2a, and the height of the show case body 1 can be decreased by that extent.
